An Inside Scoop of Pulsar Dare Venture Season 2

The shooting for the second season of Pulsar Dare Venture has recently finished. We chatted up the Management Team and SimoshSunuwar, Director of Pulsar Dare Venture Season 2 to cater your concerns.

AS TOLD TO: KARUNA GURUNG

What were your plans for the second season? And how did it turn out?

M: There were no specific plans apart from making this season better and on more fair grounds than the first season.

S: The road to Solukhumbu is not as challenging as Mustang, so lots of twists are required to make it more interesting and with better format.

How were this season’s contestants?

M: Dare venture is very close to our heart and no matter how the contestants are they’ll always be dear to us. With the growth of the show, the refinement of the participants was evident. They’re skilled and good with ride but were not as raw as the first season’s participants.

S: They were good but they knew why they were there. They were aware of the fact that it was a game and everyone was there to win.

What difficulties did you face while shooting this season?

M: The only problem we feel that the production crew faced was the climate condition. It was supposed to be dry season but it was raining. Getting good shots while saving the equipment proved to be difficult.

S: There were no such difficulties as we had planned everything beforehand. Everything went according to plan.

How were the off -screen moments?

M: Everyone got along together and we had a very comfortable moment and enjoyed every bit of it.

S: My working style is the same at all times whether it be TV, ads or reality show. There is no hierarchy in my team so everyone is comfortable with each other. They do not hesitate to put out their opinions to make the show better.

What was the most exciting and challenging moment of the journey?

M:Takshindu was unbelievable. The feeling is indescribable and it was a once in a lifetime experience.

S:Takshindu ride, without doubt. It was a very challenging ride and everyone pulled through. Even the people of Phaplu could not believe it and was amazed at the crew that they rode through that terrain.

How have you guys changed from the Season 2 experience?

M: Dare Venture is so close to us now that we cannot think of not having a third season. It is a platform that helps people bond with each other. Despite all the stress and the environment, everyone was in sync and gelled up.

S: Life and work is a challenge. But, to me, Dare Venture Season 2 proved to be the real challenge.

If given a chance, what would you do differently?

M: Best of you comes out in the worst of situations. We don’t think we’ll want to change anything.

S: The cinematography and the camera angles could’ve been better if the weather allowed. So, if it were up to me, I would control the climate. Moreover, I would love to have better equipment that would allow us to shoot even in such climates and situation.

Any insider scoop that we can get for Season 3.

M: It’s too early to say anything right now. The shooting has just finished but the episodes are yet to air. We would wait until the season finale to know how it all went down and what improvements can be made.

S: If it were up to me, I would love to do Season 1 reloaded.
